Child Advocate Patty Wetterling beat out Elwyn Tinklenburg to be the candidate for congress for the DFL in the 6th. Wettterling got the endorsement after Tinklenburg decided to drop out and bring unity to the party. This is Wetterling's second run at congress for this district and faces republican challenger Michele Bachmann.
