Delays lawyers went on the offensive in a motion filed to dismiss the indictments against Congressman Tom Delay. His lawyers argued that the jury was browbeat into returning an indictment. Sources close to the grand jury say that the prosecutor used heavy handed tactics to get his way with the grand jury. The lawyers also argued that it took several empaneled grand juries to return an indictment suggesting that the prosecutor had a weak case to begin with. A ruling on the motion wont be for sometime since the judge in the case is currently on vacation.
