Gov. Pawlenty proposes performance pay for Legislature

Governor Pawlenty proposed an incentive to get the budget passed on time. If the legislature does not have a budget by the constitutional deadline they would lose their June pay. If they fail to pass a budget by the fiscal deadline by the end of June 30th they would lose their pay for July and August.
