Northwest Airlines and its mechanics resumed talks today. Northwest is now asking for 203 million in concessions from mechanics up from 176 million. The airline says this was due to spiraling fuel costs beyond the airlines control. The airline also said that if they dont have an agreement by Sept. 13th that the replacement mechanics could become permanent.
