Gulf Coast states to sue insurance companies

The states attorneys generals plan to sue major insurance companies because the state says that the insurance companies are trying to get out of paying legitimate claims as a result of Hurricane Katrina. Insurance companies are saying that the damage of homes caused by flooding should not be covered under existing policies. The states however say that the flooding was caused by storm surge due to Hurricane Katrina not by flooding alone.
