FEMA says Camp Ripley facility in MN not needed

After governor Pawlenty announced plans to make Camp Ripley available for survivors of Hurricane Katrina, FEMA has announced that those facilities are not needed. It says that many of the people want to stay within the Gulf Coast Region. The governor says that if FEMA requests it will be ready within 48 hours.
