Countries that produce oil have offered to relieve the supply pressure to the United States by releasing oil from their oil reserves. This could ease the ever skyrocketing gas prices some what.
The president has authorized temporary waivers so that gasoline can be delivered in greater amounts by suspending EPA rules regarding pollution. Other waivers have been granted so that companies can more effectively deliver gas to market.
