Pres. Bush will be making a trip to the Gulf Coast to survey the damage and to meet with local officials to see how the federal government can help them. He has been concerned that 1) there is still an inability to communicate between officials 2) that victims are not being informed of where to go to get help 3)law and order remains an issue several days after the disaster. He hopes his presence will help speed up the process of getting much needed assistance and medical attention to those who need it.
